The Type 23891 Star Clean hygiene system is designed to provide hygiene to workers entering and leaving the working area. In food processing facilities, such as meat packaging, it is important to ensure that the whole facility remains as contaminant-free as possible.
The cleaning procedure begins when the employee steps onto the platform triggering an automatic start up of the system and the following cleaning actions take place:
Foot Bath: The employee steps into the foot bath of sterilizing solution to immerse their shoes or boots to sterilize the soles. The next step is to step onto the dripping area to allow the sterilizing liquid to drip back into the system.
Hand Sterilization: While waiting for the sterilization liquid to drip off the shoe soles or boot soles, the employee would continue with the sterilization process by placing their hands into the hand sterilizer to receive a dose of sterilizing agent. Once the dose is dispensed, the turnstile will unlock to allow passage into the sterile working area.
Sole Cleaning: The brushes located at the base of the unit begin to spin while an injection of water and detergent occur and the shoe soles or boot soles are cleaned continuously while the employee walks through the Star Clean Hygiene Station.
Hand Sterilization: While walking through the sole cleaner the employee would then place their hands into the hand sterilization unit to receive a dose of sterilizing agent. Once the unit dispenses the sterilizing agent the turnstile the sterilizing agent the turnstile will unlock to allow passage away from the sterile work area.
