Test plugs (also called test pugs) are cylindrical in design and are made from durable plastic that are shatterproof and easy to clean. Each metal detector test plug contains a high quality and precision metal contaminant certifiable by the manufacture.

- Stainless steel test plugs
- Ferrous test plugs
- Non-ferrous test plugs

Test plugs application:
- The flat base of the test plug allows it to be placed directly onto products or conveyor belts without fear of it rolling about during metal detector tests. Also, it can be dropped through the aperture of the metal detectors vertically, e.g., Gravity Fall or ZMFZ metal detectors.
- Test plugs can also be used with other rectangular metal detectors, such as, Certus, Compact, Powerphase, PowerphasePLUS, PowerphasePRO metal detectors.
