Shawpak Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) is ideal for companies that do not have an on staff service department handling repair and maintenance. Shawpak PMP aims to optimize the performance of your conveyors, metal detectors, x-ray inspection, checkweighers and modular hygiene stations. A scheduled visit will consist of a detailed inspection of your systems by a qualified service technician, below is an example of an inspection performed on a metal detection system:

Check metal detector for operation as per factory specifications
Verify that the product is set to optimum settings or to customer requirements
Monitor signal voltages (This procedure requires short stoppage of product flow)
Verify operation of reject mechanism and adjust, if necessary
Check the general condition of mechanical devices (conveyor, reject etc.)
